A crash test dummy is a type of dummy that simulates a human in size, weight, and articulation that is used in vehicle crash tests. Their most distinguishing feature is the visual reference marker composed of a circle divided into four alternating segments of black and yellow. At least one of these markers is commonly placed on the side of the dummy's head.
