cloak (marvel)

Cloak (Tyrone "Ty" Johnson) and Dagger (Tandy Bowen) are a superhero duo appearing in Marvel comic books. They first debuted in Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #64.

He's a teenage boy with a speech impediment and struggling parents. A friend was unjustly shot by police who assumed he robbed a store, causing Tyrone to run from home in distress. He considered stealing Tandy's purse to get by, but instead prevents a thief from doing it. He and Tandy quickly become friends. Shortly thereafter, they're abducted by the Maggia and used as guinea pigs for fatal drugs. They survive, escape, and discover that the drugs have granted them powers.

Cloak can teleport and turn intangible through the darkforce. Dagger can create daggers of light and use her power to heal with the lightforce. They draw power from one another, further strengthening their newfound bond.
