Cid Kagenou is the founder and the leader of the secret organization Shadow Garden. He is also the younger brother of Claire Kagenou.
Cid was called Minoru Kageno before reincarnating in another world as Cid Kagenou. He uses the name Shadow when acting as the leader of Shadow Garden to avoid having his real identity known. Through the series he also uses another persona called John Smith.
