It is a species of insect belonging to the subfamily Dynastinae.
It has one horn on its head, and two long horns and one short horn on its pronotum.
It resembles the Atlas Beetle, but can be distinguished by the presence of a short protrusion on the middle part of the upper surface of a head horn.
