Casualties: Unknown is an indie cave-exploration survival simulator developed by Orsoniks, also known from its earlier/demo name Scav Prototype. The player controls an artificially made anthropomorphic test subject, often referred to as an Experiment or Exp, sent into hostile underground layers on an alien planet to retrieve lost cargo. The game is known for its unforgiving survival gameplay, detailed injury and medical systems, and frequent grim-but-pathetic deaths.
