casing ejection

The act of ejecting shell casings from a firearm. Most modern, self-loading weapons eject casings automatically after rounds are fired.

However, this tag also applies to the act of manually ejecting casingsーsuch as by racking the slide of a semi-automatic handgun or pump action shotgun, opening the cylinder of a revolver, or cycling the bolt of a bolt action rifle.
