Ultimate-level Dragon Man Digimon. A Virus-attribute variant of War Greymon feared as the "Jet-black Dragon Warrior", this subspecies features black scales and black armor, unlike its Vaccine-attribute counterpart. Despite this mysterious change in attribute and disposition, it still fights for the sake of its own brand of 'justice', and it despises cowardice and foul play. For that reason, it refuses to associate itself with vulgar Digimon, even if those happen to be Virus Digimon. Also, its Brave Shield does not feature the Crest of Courage.

Black War Greymon has yellow eyes, much like its prior forms, and blonde hair.
