- In North America, a biscuit is a small piece of baked bread similar to a scone, also referred to as 'quickbread'. Use the biscuit (bread) tag for this definition.
- In Britain, a biscuit is similar to what a cookie or cracker would be in the West. For Danbooru, use the cookie tag.
