A battle of World War II between Italian Axis forces and Allied United Kingdom soldiers that took place from 6 to 7 February 1941 in Lybia, North of Africa.

It ended in British victory. A consequence of this outcome was the later deployment of the first units of the Afrika Korps sent by Adolf Hitler to reinforce the Italians.
