bardiche (weapon)

A Slavic polearm with a distinctive long curved axe blade. Typically associated with Russian soldiers known as streltsy.

Through mistranslation the weapon may be called a scythe in Japanese media, but it is not one; the bardiche is related more closely to the halberd.
