axillary tail of spence

A narrow, tapered extension of breast tissue reaching into the armpit, most noticeable with the arm(s) raised. Appears as a narrow extension of breast tissue extending from the upper outer breast into the top of the armpit.

With the arm(s) down, it appears as a subtle fullness or smooth curve along the upper outer sides of each breast near the front of the armpit.
