Karerin
asakura karen (heaven burns red)
One of the main heroines in Heaven Burns Red, a member of Team 31A. Nicknamed "Karerin" by Ruka. Voiced by Serizawa Yuu.
A gamer girl talented in FPS games, with a gentle and endearing personality that matches her looks. She loves junk food because she can eat it with one hand while gaming. In the new "She is Legend," she serves as one of the two main vocalists.
Behind all of this is the alternate personality of a bloodthirsty serial killer, Karen-chan.
Once Karen-chan takes over, her personality turns a 180-degree change with Karen-chan assuming harsher way of speaking (and in a shouting way too). Always impatient to rush to the combat scene, matching with her psycho-killer identity. She also likes to tease others like jumpscaring people and making scary monologues in the night. She assumes the "screamo" (shouting vocals) part of She is Legend.
Along with the personality, there is a visual change: Karerin's cat hood becomes horned hood, her cat tail transforms into a demon tail, her yellow eyes change color to red and start glowing, teeth become sharp and a cat which always lies on her head hides under the hood.
