The Armsel Striker is a 12-gauge shotgun of South African origin, designed for designed for riot control and combat. It is also known as Sentinel Arms Co Striker-12, Protecta, Protecta Bulldog and SWD Street Sweeper. The weapon features a top-folded stock, pistol grip, and a vertical foregrip. The most distinctive feature is its revolving cylinder, that has 12-round capacity and 7-round on more compact variants.
It was initially designed by a Rhodesian national, Hilton R. Walker in 1981, who then emigrated to South Africa. He brought his design for the shotgun with him as well. A copy of the Striker was made by the US gunmaker Cobray and marketed as the SWD Street Sweeper from 1989 through 1993.
