Anpanman (Anime title: Soreike! Anpanman! (それいけ!アンパンマン); Bread Man Anpanman!) is a children's manga and anime series created by Takashi Yanase. First published in 1982, it became one of the longest running TV shows in Japan. Despite its limited success abroad, it is the second most successful anime series of all time (after Doraemon) due to its wide range of merchandises.

The story involves Anpanman, an anthromorpic anpan bread who lives with other various anthromorphic breads, and their fight against his devil nemesis Baikinman.
