Anessa is a soldier in Moonbrooke's royal army in Dragon Quest Builders 2. Notably, she wears a roman helmet and has purple hair.
The player is initially encouraged to believe she is a spy for Hargon's followers by her friend, Rick. However, it is revealed later that Rick was actually the spy. After his death, Anessa appears to still grieve over him and mentions wishing he could see the player's accomplishments in postgame interactions.
