She is modeled after the real Alice Liddell, who was in a relationship with Lewis Carroll until her father exiled the latter over this. Years later, Carroll became disgusted upon finding Alice's youthful beauty was gone and wished to go back to the old days, resulting in him being spirited away by Mary Sue and becoming Grimm.
