albacore (azur lane)

Azur Lane's personification of the US Navy submarine USS Albacore (SS-218). Character design by Kani Biimu, voiced by Tanezaki Atsumi.

She has long blonde hair and aqua eyes, and wears a black bikini as her default uniform. She also wears red wristbands and keeps a 20 mm Oerlikon anti-air gun on her right armlet. Her 76 mm single mount is holstered on the side of the bikini itself.

She is historically the submarine responsible for sinking Taihou in the battle of the Philippine Sea, explaining why the latter is fearful of her in the game voice lines (and in Azur Lane: Slow Ahead).
