Otoha is the Goddess living peacefully in Human Village. She had a brother before she became a Goddess rank, but he died shortly before her ascension. She came to the Gensokyo about 100 years before the barrier has separate Gensokyo from Outside World. Because of her religion view, she hates everything about Remilia Scarlet and SDM. Her power is to manipulate Divine Matter and Psychical Matter, which means, she can destroy anything what she want or create.

Her appearance is strongly based on Saint Mary, especially veils in her design. She wears a pansy on her head, which is her favourite flower. The main motif of her appearance is fusion of Slavic and Polish legends with Christianity. She wields a powerful and legendary, polish sword named Sincererun (誠実な実行). Her name is written in katakana (which means nothing) but also she has a meaning variety. Name Otoha - 音羽 (sound,feather) might be a reference to the Christianity angels etc. while her surname is nothing more than one of the most popular surnames in present Poland, which can be translated as Smith or Yamada.

For now, she don't have any appearance in game, but creators want to change it.
