24-hour relay

A type of fandom event / art game that lasts for a certain number of hours, traditionally 24, but sometimes longer. An artist is assigned to each hour, and must post a piece of artwork for that hour. These events are common in Chinese fandom spaces and are usually themed around a specific copyright, character or pairing.

The day often correlates to a holiday or a character birthday.
