She obtained her second remodels with the February 21, 2018 update with Kai Ni and Kai Ni- B forms.
Clothing-wise, she changed little, a lattice-patterned strap connected to both sleeves being the only real noticable change. Gear-wise, she gained a flight deck apron (complete with a "Dzuho" imprint, her real-life identification mark), her "mysterious" back gear has been rebuilt as less mysterious armoring with AA guns attached and her quiver as her flight deck. She now wields a full sized yumi. Similarly to Zuikaku's own second remodels, Kai2 is distinguished as keeping her camouflage color scheme (her muneate gained some landing guidance stripes in the process) and Kai Ni- B reverts to her original red-white color scheme.
Stats-wise, Kai Ni is a significant upgrade from kai, complete with medium range; while Kai Ni- B is a more expansive remodel that sacrifices plane slots and evasion for a larger upgrade (including the highest max AA amongst Light Carriers), ASW capabilities (weaker than Taiyou) and Long range. Both remodels are available at level 80.
