Small electrical catfish in Splatoon. Called Denchinamazu in the Japanese version.
They are used as an energy source thanks to the electricity they can generate. A larger variation of these creatures known as the Great Zapfish is capable of powering a city.
In Hero Mode, the player must rescue them from the Octarian bases by breaking them out of lightbulb-like batteries.
