Zaou is the leader of the Shinjuku Academy Scouts and knows everything there is to know about hiking. He does part time jobs around Shinjuku and Ikebukuro while pitting himself against the mountains of other worlds that have appeared in Tokyo. Whenever he's not working, he's up in the mountains, resulting in dangerously slow attendance rate at school. The third eye on his forehead gives him a sixth sense that shows him the right path to survival even on the most treacherous of mountains. He is extremely strict on anyone who underestimates or desecrates mountains.
