Azur Lane's depiction of the German destroyer Z23, lead ship of the 1936A-class. In the game and the fandom, she is often referred to as Nimi in reference to the Iroha order of her number.
She has short, brown hair with blue eyes. In her base art, she wears a beret with a whiteribbon wrapped around the rim, and a ribbon with an iron cross on the right side of her head. Her clothes consist of skin-tight under-layer, including bike shorts, with a white double-breasted piece covering the front part of her body. Around her waist appears to be a combination of a coat and a showgirl skirt, with gold trim, a red inside, and a navy-blue outside. She wears blackelbow gloves with heavy duty white gloves over them. Her rigging consists of quadruple torpedo tubes attached to her back, and a handheld twin turret mount housed inside mechanical, shark-like jaws.
