Clothing-wise, she sports an all-new attire, consisting of asymmetrical gradient boots (one reaching mid-thigh that retains the "Hirihoukenten" idiom written on it in kai form, one terminating just over the knee), a whitepleated high-waist skirt with no hip vents, a white long-sleeved shirt with prominent shoulder cutouts, and a long sleeveless white coat. Yamato's oriental umbrella has also seen some changes. Instead of being completely red like before her remodel, it is now white with a red crescent like pattern on one of its sides. She also has spare armor-piercing shells on her thigh straps.
Rigging-wise, Yamato K2 has 2 forms, one that portrays her as a fast A-150 battleship with six 51cm guns in three twin turrets, and one that portrays her as slow aviation battleship with nine 51cm guns in three triple turrets. In terms of secondary battery, the A-150 fast battleship version uses 10 cm twin mounts while the BBV battleship version keeps her historical 12.7 cm twin mounts.
