The Wild Arms series as a whole. See Wild Arms 1 for the first title in the series.

The original Wild Arms game was released by Media Vision in 1997 on the Playstation 1, one of the first RPGs for the console. It would become overlooked in favor of Squaresoft's Final Fantasy VII, which was released around the same time. Despite this setback, the series still remains popular in Japan, and its tenth anniversary was celebrated in 2007 with a large number of cameos in Wild Arms 5 and a limited edition artbook.

The setting for the games is consistently a combination of Western and science-fiction tropes, and each story takes place on a (usually dying and/or war-ravaged) world known as Filgaia.

There are six Wild Arms games, an anime series, and a manga associated with the series:

    • Wild Arms 1 - Wild Arms Alter Code F (re-release title)
    • Wild Arms 2 - Wild Arms 2nd Ignition
    • Wild Arms 3 - Wild Arms Advanced 3rd
    • Wild Arms 4 - Wild Arms the 4th Detonator
    • Wild Arms 5 - Wild Arms the Vth Vanguard
    • Wild Arms XF - Wild Arms Crossfire
    • Wild Arms Twilight Venom anime
    • Wild Arms Flower Thieves manga
