She has asymmetrical bright blonde hair tied into a hair bun in the back, aqua or blue eyes, and large breasts. Her default outfit consists of a black neck pillow, yellow shirt underneath a blue cropped jacket, grey neckerchief, grey skirt, and grey rudder footwear.
Her rigging consists of her real-life bridge, smokestack, and radar to her back, bristling with multiple Bofors and Oerlikon anti-aircraft guns. She carries an M1903 Springfield rifle with two five-inch dual-purpose mounts on top, and slings her flight deck over her left arm.
Like her sister Intrepid, Kai changes the camouflage of Wasp's rigging and weapon, and turns her grey neckerchief into a multicolored blue neckerchief.
