A supervillainness who is the archnemesis of the Filipino superheroine Darna.
Among Darna's rogues' gallery, Valentina is the most popular. She is also the most famous Filipino supervillain character, just like her archnemesis Darna being the most famous Filipino superhero character.
Valentina has a Gorgon-like appearance due to her signature snake hair (in fact, some Filipino fans who are unfamiliar with the Gorgons from Greek mythology may associate other fictional characters having snake hair as a reference to Valentina instead). Depending on the series and adaptations, she may possess other snake-like traits, such as having slit pupils, a forked tongue, scaled skin, fangs, and a venomous bite (either from her fangs, her snake hair, or both).
