Curiously, one of the few select instances of dolls that can be obtained in-game that are unambiguously considered non-canon, even more so than other cases. She ends up representing three characters in-game as a result: the non-canon acquireable UMP40, who hangs out with MP5, the canon UMP40 who was UMP45's sister and died during the Butterfly Incident, and the UMP40 OGAS that developed in UMP45's Neural Cloud on the basis of her memories of UMP40. In the sequel Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, UMP40 appears as Lainie, the OGAS receiving her own body.
Her original illustrator Renatus.Z adapted her design from one of his Pixiv Fantasia characters, Natius. Following Renatus' departure, other illustrators have picked her up to do her skins. She is voiced by Uema Umi.
