A type of figure-fourchoke hold that strangles the opponent by encircling their neck with the legs in a configuration similar to the shape of a triangle.

In professional wrestling, it is used by several wrestlers, such as All Elite Wrestling wrestlers Bryan Danielson and Kyle O'Reilly, and WWE wrestler Pete Dunne/Butch. Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial artist Nate Diaz infamously won a match using the triangle choke, where he insulted his opponent by showing middle fingers and flexing his muscles while locking the hold. Danielson adopted Diaz' flexing taunt for his own version of the triangle choke.
