Edit
Thawb or thobe (Arabic: ثَوْب) is an Arabian men's garment. It is a long-sleeved ankle-length traditional robe—often light-colored. It is mainly worn in the Arabian Peninsula, the Levant, North Africa, and some countries in East and West Africa - especially among Muslim men during religious activities.
For the similar counterpart for women, see abaya.
