    The Gates of Hell (La Porte de l'Enfer) is a monumental bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin inspired by the Inferno from Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.

    Standing 6 m (19.7 ft) tall, it contains about 180 figures and is one of Rodin’s most famous works.
    Several casts exist worldwide, while the original plaster model is housed at Musée d'Orsay.
