A 2019-to-Present shoujo fantasy Korean webtoon written by Spice&Kitty and illustrated by ORKA. The English releases of the series is split between the webtoon released by Tapas under the name The Fantasie of a Stepmother and the physical volumes released by Seven Seas under the name A Stepmother's Märchen.
The series follows Shuri von Neuschwanstein, a young lady from a poor family of low nobility. Forced into a marriage by her family with a man of high nobility at the age of 14, things take a difficult turn when she is left widowed at the age of 16. Shocking everyone, her husband left her as head of the estate in his will. With everyone seemingly expecting her to fail, she struggles and perseveres for 7 years to keep the promise she made to raise her stepchildren Jeremy, Elias, Rachel, and Leon. Despite strained relationships with the stepchildren, she succeeds in seeing the eldest son Jeremy come of age, become the new head of the estate, and be about to marry. Just before the wedding though, Jeremy's fiance tells her that Jeremy does not want her at the wedding. Feeling slighted, but relieved to finally be over with it all, Shuri chooses grant the wish she believes her stepchildren have and depart the household for good. The next thing she knows she's startled awake back in bed as she remembers that her carriage had just been attacked by bandits. Not sure what is going on, she is shocked to learn she has somehow traveled back to the day of her husband's funeral. With the knowledge that she now has, she sees this as a second chance to make different choices in life.
