A type of mecha pilot suit seen in Soukyuu no Fafner. The suit is skin tight and has exposed segments along the shoulders, hips, and waist. These exposed segments are injected with a series of needles during operation to allow the pilots to interface with the Fafners and the Siegfried system.
They are usually dark blue or green, with the only notable exceptions being Makabe Kazuki and Toomi Maya's suits, which are grey and pink respectively. Kazuki switches to the traditional blue suit in later entries, while Maya retains her trademark pink suit.
