A long running (15 seasons in total, a number of spinoffs including an anime in collaboration with Madhouse) popular television series about two brothers (Sam and Dean Winchester) who hunts and kill various supernatural creatures across the US. There is a long running arc concerning major conflict between angles and demons, although there are many non-Christian (and even non-western) mythology and deities over the seasons. The show has a major following on Tumblr and a devoted fandom, the latter of which the show itself acknowledges in various episodes.
