The 2026 World Cup would inspire many to draw Worldwide Miku-style art of Miku wearing their nation's soccer uniform, inspiring a new wave of Brazilian Miku fanart and more. After Spain defeated Argentina in the World Cup Final, following after Argentina's claim of ownership of Miku in the Hatsune Miku World Cup Custody Battle (Argentinian Miku), many artists began drawing this Miku to show "Spanish ultimate ownership" over her.
Sometimes joked about as her "coming back home" since the VOCALOID engine was co-developed by Yamaha and a team from a Spanish university (Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona).
