A superhero from the Marvel universe. Created by writer Steve Orlando and artist Gerardo Sandoval, Silence first appeared in Extreme Carnage: Phage #1 (Jul. 2021).
Following the death of the Screamsymbiote, Dr. Steven harvested its remains in an effort to revitalize the symbiote, which was unsuccessful. He then combined Scream's remains with a sample of the Anti-Venom Serum, creating Silence. After Andrea Benton was severely injured by Phage, she bonded with Silence thinking it was Scream and would defeat Phage with one touch.
As a symbiote, Silence gives its host multiple superpowers, including superhuman strength, stamina and durability, regeneration, wall-crawling and ESP (spider-sense). It also has the combined powers of Scream (constituent-matter generation/manipulation (hair) and trichokinesis (prehensile hair)) and Anti-Venom (internal bodily cleansing and healing). When bonded with a host, Silence has absurdly longtwo-tonered and white hair, multicoloredred and white skin, large white eyes, numerous sharp teeth, and claws.
