A 2009 Mazinger anime series directed by Imagawa Yasuhiro. The series is a reimagination of the classic super robot series that incorporates elements of the Zeta Mazinger manga (most notably the elements of Greek mythology) and makes references to various other Nagai Gou works.
A manga series titled True Mazinger Zero was released alongside the anime, and was later followed up with Shin Mazinger Zero.
