She seems obsessed with night battles, on account of her historical battle record. Her obsession is so strong that she is also known as the "Night Battle Idiot" in-game. The phrase "night battle" is often used as a euphemism for sex in KanColle fan works. Her name can also be read as "Kawauchi", which is sometimes used to refer to her in a teasing way.
