A member of Old Tales squad alongside Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Hansel, and Gretel. She and her squad mates were designed to be the successors to the legendary Goddess squad, having modifications that rival, if not exceed, theirs.
It is later revealed that Red Shoes was responsible for refining the Corruption code that the Raptures use to corrupt Nikkes, with her primary motive for her treachery to gain peaceful coexistence with the Raptures. She specifically targeted Cinderella because she was considered the most powerful Nikke in their squad, and is directly responsible for Cinderella's corruption into the Heretic "Anachiro", resulting in humanity's defeat and retreat into the Ark.
After her death, the Raptures took her eponymous legwear and Corruption code, implying that they only wanted her weaponry.
Over a century later, data containing her likeness and personality surfaced during the Rapture Queen's assault on Eden, known as Mirror. This artificial version of Red Shoes somehow managed to revive Scarlet's long-dead sister, Rose, and put her under her control. Mirror wanted Modernia to become the new Rapture Queen, as she considers the current Queen to be a "coward" for hiding in space for the past century after her battle with Cinderella.
