The signature duel monster of Jonouchi Katsuya from Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, anime and collectible card game. It's the main card of the 1999 Yu-Gi-Oh! Toei movie, in which the card is owned by Aoyama Shougo. It's also stated in the movie that "Blue-Eyes" represents power while "Red-Eyes" represents potential.

Red-Eyes Black Dragon has become one of the most iconic Duel Monsters of all time, along with Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Dark Magician. Its archetype in the card game packs an archetypal Fusion Spell, Red-Eyes Fusion, which grants it access to a number of powerful Fusion Monsters.
