Personal Digital Assistants are wireless, handheld devices that can search and record information into the database or an wider network that it connected to, like computer terminals, but only used to keeping schedules, calendars and address book information handy for plan or organise any personal or business events in the future for the users, such as appointments, meetings, celebrations and conference.
Popular in the 1990s and early 2000s, PDAs were the precursors to smartphones.
