A type of Japanese meme where clips of audiovisual content are synced up with a song in order to remix it. In the West, this genre is more known as "YTPMV" (YouTube Poop Music Video), but the two genres are nearly identical in terms of actual content and the terms sometimes overlap.
Primarily posted on NicoNico. A subgenre of the broader "MAD" genre of video, which stands for "Music Anime Douga" and covers most types of videos editing together anime (and related media such as games) and music in some way.
