A one-piece swimsuit usually blue or black in color with thicker shoulder straps, vertical seams over the torso and a flap over the groin. Sometimes has a white name tag stitched across the chest. If a school swimsuit lacks the groin flap, but is otherwise in the same style as the classic version use the new school swimsuit tag instead; if it has thin shoulder straps distinct from the main body of the suit and lacks seams, use competition school swimsuit.
