A K-ON! High School character, she debuted after the April 2011 manga relaunch. An incoming freshman and light music club member at Sakuragaoka High School, she was initially known only as Okuda-san.
Since she is too clumsy for physical activities, she joined as a last resort. However, as a clumsy, she can't play instruments either. Because all she can do is study, she eventually became well-versed in music theory and learned how to use music creation software on the suggestion of Yamanaka Sawako.
