ネモ ネモ船長 エルシス・ラ・アルウォール

A character from Fushigi No Umi No Nadia. He is captain of the submarine (and later spacecraft) Nautilus.

He is based on Captain Nemo from Jules Verne's novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. His visual character design was based on that of Bruno J. Global from Choujikuu Yousai Macross.

It is eventually revealed in the series that his true name is "Eleusis La Arwall", and that he is the biological father of Nadia and the rightful ruler of Atlantis.
