Upon kai ni, she ditches the sailor dress for a somewhat more elaborate white strapless dress, which has vertical slits over her breasts, with a black spandex cropped t-shirt underneath. She now wears rudderheeledloafers. Her signature red necktie is tied directly around her neck. Her sidelocks become much larger and poofier.
Her rigging has been upgraded to be sturdier-looking. In particular, she trades her two floating 12.7 cm twin gun mounts Type B for 12.7 cm open twin gun mounts attached to her rig, one on either side. Her bridge rig on her back is also updated to match the real-life Murakumo's, but with the addition of a radar on her mast (which she never acquired in real-life). Her halo remains unchanged, but her rigging now glows blue, occasionally pink. Her mast spear is absent in her in-game portrait but other official art reveals that, while the design has otherwise barely changed as well (only the handle has moved to the middle of the shaft), it now features an actual spearhead.
