A Jay Ward Productions property, originating out of Rocky & Bullwinkle. The original segment from the show, entitled "Peabody's Improbable History", features a genius dog named Mr. Peabody who adopts a human named Sherman. Every episode features the two of them using the Wayback Machine to go back in time to observe a historic figure.
The segment would in the 2010s be spun-off into its own property, beginning first with the 2014 computer animated film by Dreamworks, before being followed up by "The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show," which aired on Netflix from 2015 to 2017.
