The Islamic place of worship. Typically constructed with a dome on top and influenced by Middle Eastern architecture. Some have minarets and courtyards. Notable mosques of the world are the 17th of Ramadan Mosque in Iraq, Sultan Ahmed Mosque and Hagia Sophia in Turkey.
