Michisio was the third of IJN's Asashio-class destroyers.
She was completed in October 1937 and sunk at Battle of Surigao Strait in October 1944.

In Kantai Collection, she has light brown hair, short twintails, hair buns and yellow eyes and wears a short-sleeved white shirt, a green ascot, a skirt with suspenders and black kneehighs. She holds a twin-gun turret and a torpedo launcher. Her voice actress is Miyagawa Wakana.

Despite always being a cranky and sulky girl, she gets really nervous and lonely when going to a dock. When the destroyer Michisio was under repair for about a year, her fellow sisters in Destroyer Division 8, Asashio, Ooshio and Arashio were all sunk. She is often associated with french crullers due to her hair buns resembling a pair.

As part of the Alice in Wonderland-themed live circus show "Great Abyssal Circus - 1YB3H's Adventures in Wonderland", Michisio received an Alice-themed outfit (post #3575802).
