A rebuilt variant of the Mechagodzilla that appeared in the 1975 Godzilla film Terror Of Mechagodzilla, it looks nearly identical to the one from the 1974 film Godzilla_vs._mechagodzilla but has MG2 on its arms, duller shine and fewer colors in its eye beams. Not to be confused with the Mechagodzilla that appears in the 1993 film perplexedly named Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II which was a separate continuity and that timeline's first and only Mechagodzilla. Pipeworks' Godzilla game trilogy fell for this confusion as well.
